Travis Scott Was Pulled From WWE 2K25 DLC After Falling Out With The Company

A new report has revealed that rapper Travis Scott was originally scheduled to be a playable character in the WWE 2K25 video game. However, he was removed from the game’s downloadable content packs after having a “full falling out” with the company.

Travis Scott Removed From ‘WWE 2K25’ DLC

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Travis Scott was slated to be a surprise celebrity inclusion in the game’s DLC. Following a “full falling out” between Scott and WWE, the decision was made to replace him. The report notes that the new character El Grande Americano took his spot in one pack, while Aleister Black was added to the WrestleMania pack in his place.

The Aftermath Of The ‘Falling Out’

Meltzer’s report that it is now “open season to knock him” in WWE aligns with recent comments made by Drew McIntyre on the Impulsive podcast, where he called Scott a “Piece of sh*t” for his interference at WrestleMania 41. The Observer also noted that while some in WWE believe celebrities can bring new fans to the game, many fans have indicated they would rather have more wrestlers included.

Scott’s removal from the video game appears to be the final end for his involvement with WWE. The storyline that began with him helping John Cena win the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41 has completely pivoted. It was previously reported that Scott wasn’t a quick learner in the business while training for his in-ring debut.
