Original Card For WWE WrestleMania 41 Revealed

The Netflix docuseries “WWE: Unreal” has revealed the original plans for this past year’s WrestleMania 41. The card featured several significant changes from what was initially planned.

Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins Was The Original Plan

Originally set for the show was a one-on-one match between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. This was ultimately changed to the triple-threat match that also included CM Punk, a match that saw Paul Heyman betray Reigns to align with Rollins.

Other Major Scrapped Matches

Other significant matches on the original card that were later changed include Rhea Ripley defending the Women’s World Championship against Bianca Belair, Nia Jax defending the WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill, and a massive match between Bron Breakker and Drew McIntyre with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin as the special guest referee. The original card also featured two multi-person ladder matches for the Intercontinental and United States Championships.
