WWE: Unreal Shows Triple H Being Upset When Tiffany Stratton Went Off Script On Charlotte Flair

The new “WWE: Unreal” docuseries on Netflix has revealed a tense behind-the-scenes moment from this past April, detailing how Paul “Triple H” Levesque was upset with Tiffany Stratton after she went off-script in a promo and instructed her to apologize to Charlotte Flair.

Triple H’s Backstage Reaction Revealed

In footage shown from backstage in the docuseries, which premiered today, Triple H is seen addressing the situation after the controversial promo segment. He made it clear to the then-WWE Women’s Champion that going off-script in that manner was not acceptable.

“I need to know, Tiffany, that’s not how we do this. She needs to go and apologize to Charlotte,” Levesque stated.

A Feud That ‘Got Super Personal’

The incident occurred during an infamous promo on the April 4 episode of SmackDown. During a heated exchange to build their WrestleMania 41 match, Stratton referenced Charlotte Flair’s real-life divorces, a line that was reportedly not in the script. Flair immediately retaliated with an unscripted personal comment of her own about Stratton’s real-life boyfriend, Ludwig Kaiser.

In the months since, all parties have commented on the “super personal” nature of the feud. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Flair acknowledged that the rivalry became “extremely heated” but praised their final match. Her father, Ric Flair, was far more critical, calling Stratton’s line “the cheapest sh*t I’ve ever heard in my life” during an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show. For her part, Stratton remained unapologetic in a recent podcast interview, stating, “This is the big leagues. I said what I said. If you can’t handle the heat, stay out of the champion’s spotlight.”

Despite the heated nature of their WrestleMania rivalry, both superstars have since moved on to new challenges. Tiffany Stratton has continued her reign as WWE Women’s Champion and is now scheduled to defend her title against Jade Cargill at the upcoming SummerSlam premium live event. Charlotte Flair has formed a new tag team with Alexa Bliss, and the duo will challenge Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at the same event.
