An update has been provided on the schedule for the official host of this weekend’s WWE SummerSlam, Cardi B. According to a new report from WrestleVotes, the hip-hop superstar is currently only set to appear on Night One of the two-night event.
Cardi B Currently Set For ‘Saturday Night Only’
On the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio, a report on the host’s schedule was provided. “As of this writing, we are told Cardi B, the official host of SummerSlam is currently set for Saturday night only,” WrestleVotes stated.
Possibility Of Second Appearance Remains
While the current plan is for her to appear on the first night, the report did not completely rule out a second appearance. “While it’s still possible, she makes an appearance on both nights, several sources are under the impression the hip hop star will be in attendance Saturday exclusively,” the report added.
Cardi B will be hosting a stacked first night of SummerSlam this Saturday, August 2nd. The card is scheduled to feature several huge matches, including GUNTHER defending the World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk and a massive tag team grudge match between the teams of Roman Reigns & Jey Uso and Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed.
