Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes recently appeared on the popular web series Hot Ones and broke down some of the unwritten rules of the WWE locker room. During the conversation, he named one current Raw superstar who is guilty of committing a locker room “crime.”
Don’t Bother A Top Star During Autographs
Rhodes explained that a major breach of etiquette is to disturb a top star while they are in the middle of signing their nightly stack of hundreds of 8×10 photos before a show. “Once you’re in stride, a misdemeanor is to come up and try to talk or shake that person’s hand, once they’re in stride,” he said.
Cody Rhodes Names Bron Breakker
“The American Nightmare” then called out a specific superstar who he says is guilty of committing this “misdemeanor.” “And we’ve got a newbie who’s gonna be a huge star and that’s Bron Breakker, one of the famous Steiner family,” Rhodes said. “Dude comes up, headlocks you, puts you in a hug, real touchy. That’s a no. That’s a crime. I’m in the midst of this. That’s a crime.”
While Rhodes and Breakker are on different brands, both men have huge matches scheduled for this weekend’s SummerSlam event. On Sunday night, Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against John Cena in a Street Fight. On Saturday night, Bron Breakker will team with Bronson Reed to take on the reunited duo of Roman Reigns and Jey Uso.
