WWE SummerSlam Results: Roman Reigns & Jey Uso Pick Up Opening Match Win

Roman Reigns & Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed took place at the WWE SummerSlam – night 1 Premium Live Event from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The babyfaces got the upperhand early before Jey started to yeet. The heels took out Reigns at ringside leading to Jey hitting an outside dive. Jey fought back after being beaten down and tagged in Reigns, who hit an outside dive. Reigns with a superman punch to Reed before Bron rolled him up for 2 and caught him with a big knee. Reed got the blind tag after Reigns hit Bron with a superman punch. Reed with an outside dive onto Jey before Bron took out Reigns over the announce table. Reed and Bron did the Steiner bulldog. Reigns speared Bron through the barricade. Reigns with a superman punch to Bronson then Reigns and Jey hit the 1D for 2 as Bron broke it up. Reigns took a spear instead of Jey from Bron leading Jey clearing out Bron and hitting a splash to Reed for the win.
