Triple H Is ‘Not Thrilled About Bogus Medical Reports’ From Seth Rollins

Following the shocking conclusion to Night One of SummerSlam, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque has commented on Seth Rollins’ masterful “Ruse of the Century” that saw him become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

‘Playing Chess While Everyone Else Is Playing Checkers’

During the post-show press conference, Triple H praised Rollins’ cunning plan, which saw him feign a serious knee injury for weeks only to reveal it was a work and cash in his Money in the Bank contract.

“Seth Rollins is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. He comes out and takes the World Heavyweight Championship. My hats off to Seth Rollins. That’s a smart way to do business,” Levesque said, before adding, “Not thrilled about bogus medical reports, but we’ll deal with that down the line.”

The Passion That Drives The Hatred

Triple H also provided the storyline motivation for Rollins’ elaborate scheme to target CM Punk. He explained that Rollins’ actions are driven by his deep respect for WWE, an institution he feels Punk wronged with his past actions. “It’s his passion for WWE that drives his anger, his hatred, his unforgiveness of CM Punk,” Levesque stated. “He will never forgive him for that. He can’t get past it and grow past it.”

Rollins’ shocking victory has completely upended the main event scene on Monday Night Raw. The new World Heavyweight Champion is expected to appear on tomorrow night’s show to address his actions, while the man he cashed in on, CM Punk, will surely be looking for immediate revenge after his own championship reign lasted only a matter of minutes.
