Following the shocking return of Brock Lesnar at the conclusion of SummerSlam Night Two, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque has shared his reaction to the massive surprise.
The Roof Would’ve Blown Off The Place
Speaking on the post-SummerSlam show, Triple H praised the moment and the massive reaction from the crowd at MetLife Stadium. “My reaction was exactly what I thought it was going to be. If there had been a roof on this place, it wouldn’t be there anymore,” he said.
The ‘Unpredictable’ Factor Of The Beast
Levesque went on to explain the massive impact that Lesnar’s presence has on the entire WWE landscape. “The dynamic in the room changes when The Beast is here,” he stated. “Seeing Brock Lesnar comeback…anything you thought was happening sort of all goes out the window because the factor of Brock now just changes that dynamic. It makes it so unpredictable. Incredible to have him back.”
Lesnar’s return saw him deliver a devastating F5 to John Cena after Cena had lost the main event to the new Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes. It is now planned for Lesnar to enter a program with John Cena, which will be a major part of Cena’s ongoing retirement tour.
