Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw will feature the massive fallout from the first-ever two-night SummerSlam premium live event. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has announced that the show from Brooklyn will feature appearances from multiple new and reigning champions.
New World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins To Appear
Following his “Ruse of the Century” at SummerSlam Night One, the new World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, will be live on Raw. After faking a knee injury for weeks, Rollins successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on a newly-crowned CM Punk to capture the title. He is expected to address his shocking victory tonight.
New Women’s Tag Team Champions Address WWE Fans
Also appearing on tonight’s show will be the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. The unlikely duo defeated Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez on Saturday night to win the titles and will make their first appearance as champions on Raw.
Becky Lynch Appears, Sheamus Battles Rusev
Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch is also scheduled for the broadcast following her successful, hard-fought title defense against Lyra Valkyria at SummerSlam. In addition, a massive grudge match is set for tonight, as Sheamus and Rusev will collide in a one-on-one contest. Fans can also expect to hear from CM Punk after his short-lived title reign and see further developments in the war between Roman Reigns’ family and Paul Heyman’s new faction.
