WWE Star Removed From Internal Active Roster

An update has been provided on the status of WWE Raw superstar Austin Theory. According to a new report from PWInsider.com, Theory has been removed from the company’s internal active roster.

Austin Theory Removed From Active Roster

The report states that WWE sources have confirmed the former United States Champion is no longer listed on the internal active roster. The reason for this change is currently unknown, though it comes after Theory was written off of television with an injury.

It should be noted that this does NOT mean he has been released, as wrestlers are typically removed from the internal roster when they’re unavailable to be booked for television. Per Fightful Select, Theory isn’t off the roster completely, but rather he’s listed with the other injured talent like Zoey Stark and Ilja Dragunov.

An Injury And A Tag Team Split For Theory

On the July 21 episode of Monday Night Raw, Theory’s tag team partner, Grayson Waller, announced that their team, A-Town Down Under, was “done.” Waller stated that Theory was injured and that he was “moving on” to find new partners. The specific nature of Theory’s reported injury has not been publicly disclosed.

Theory’s removal from the active roster comes just two weeks after his on-screen partnership with Grayson Waller came to an abrupt end. On Raw, Waller has since been seen in backstage segments attempting to form new alliances, while the specifics of Theory’s injury and his long-term future with WWE remain unknown.
