AEW Collision Preview: TNT Title On The Line, World Champion In Action

Tonight’s episode of AEW Collision is loaded with a massive trios main event featuring the new AEW World Champion and a huge first-time championship defense. The show will also feature a star-studded six-woman tag team match.

Huge Trios Main Event On AEW Collision

In the main event of the evening, the new AEW World Champion, “Hangman” Adam Page, will be in action. He will team up with the high-flying duo of JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey) to take on Rush, Dralistico, and The Beast Mortos.

This match marks Page’s first time in the ring since winning the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley in a brutal Texas Death Match at the All In: Texas pay-per-view. With his first title defense against Moxley in a rematch already scheduled for next week’s Dynamite, Page will look to gain momentum heading into that huge encounter.

Kyle Fletcher’s First TNT Title Defense

The new TNT Champion, Kyle Fletcher, will put his title on the line for the very first time tonight. He is set to defend against the legendary strong-style veteran from New Japan Pro-Wrestling, “The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii. Fletcher, a member of the Don Callis Family, won the championship from Dustin Rhodes in a brutal Chicago Street Fight on the July 31st episode of Collision.

Also scheduled for tonight’s broadcast is a massive six-woman tag team match. The team of Willow Nightingale, Queen Aminata, and Tay Melo will take on Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue. AEW Collision airs live tonight at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
