Michael Cole announced that Naomi is not medically cleared to compete tonight
LA Knight confronts CM Punk
CM Punk told the audience I promise you I’m even more possessed to regain the World Championship. I don’t hate the game, but I hate the player, Seth Rollins.
LA Knight came to the ring. He shook hands with Punk. He with Punk saying he was robbed of the title and deserves to have his rematch, but last week I was having my match with Rollins when you attacked him, got me disqualified, and cost me my opportunity. I understand it, but it was the wrong place, wrong time. We don’t have a problem, but you can get your rematch after I get mine.
Punk told Knight you should say, thank you Mr. Punk for preventing Seth Rollins from ending my career. Did you think you would have won the title after he stomped your head in the ground? I’m the number one contender and you can get to the back of the line.
Knight said I will forget what you did last week as long as you don’t do it again. I’m going to beat Rollins and then you will be my first successful title defense.
Paul Heyman came out with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Punk challenged them to a fight. Heyman agreed to Punk and Knight vs Breakker and Reed tonight. Punk agreed. Knight told Punk that you don’t talk for me, but we will accept the challenge.
Backstage:
Dominik Mysterio brought El Grande Americano into the room. Finn Balor told Dominik that he’s pretty sure the Judgment Day doesn’t want Americano back here. Dominik said I’m using him to my advantage for Saturday at Triplemania. Balor said that’s a good idea because you can bring the AAA Mega Championship to the clubhouse.
AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs Dominik Mysterio & El Grande Americano
Styles hit the Styles Clash on Dominik. Lee went to the top rope but El Grande pushed him off sending him to the floor. Styles hit the Scorpion Drop on El Grande for a near fall. El Grande loaded his mask and Styles kicked him in the head which sent the metal object to the floor. Dominik put on his mask with the metal object inside of it. Styles rolled up El Grande. El Grande pushed Styles off sending Styles into a loaded headbutt from Dominik. El Grande rolled up Styles for the pin.
Winner: AJ Styles & Dragon Lee
Earlier today:
Sami Zayn asked Adam Pearce if he made a decision for the World Championship match for Clash in Paris. Pearce said he’s still working on it. Zayn said I’m trying to become World Champion. All I’m asking for is a chance. Pearce said I can’t make any promises. You have Rusev tonight. Let’s get through that and then we can talk.
Sheamus came in as Pearce said he wanted to see him. Pearce told him he can’t have a repeat with whatever you have going on with Rusev tonight. Sheamus asked him who is going to stop me? Zayn told Sheamus I know you have problems with Rusev, but this match means a lot to me. I’m asking you as a friend not to get involved in this match tonight. Sheamus said you have my word, but the second the match is over, that Bulgarian bastard is mine.
Backstage:
IYO SKY told Adam Pearce she wanted her title match with Naomi. Pearce said Naomi is not medically cleared and the match can’t happen tonight. As soon as I know anything else, I will let you know.
Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez came by. They told IYO it’s good that you don’t have a title match tonight so you don’t have to lose to Naomi again. IYO said I came here to fight. I can fight Roxanne. Pearce agreed to the match.
Sami Zayn vs Rusev
Zayn hit Rusev with an Exploder. As he was setting up the Helluva Kick, Tonga Loa and JC Mateo pulled Zayn out of the ring. Solo Sikoa ordered Talla Tonga to kick Zayn in the head. Officials came down to pull MFT to the back. Sheamus came down and gave Rusev a Brogue Kick. Security came back down to try to break up the Sheamus and Rusev fight as they brawled through the crowd.
Backstage:
The New Day and Grayson Waller told Adam Pearce that Penta needs to be stopped after what he did to Xavier Wood’s hat last week. Pearce said he doesn’t have time for this right now, but Woods can have Penta in a match next week.
Pre-tape Interview:
Bronson Reed said I became a big star because I attacked Seth Rollins and I earned his respect, so much so that he invited me into the Vision. I don’t want Roman Reigns’ respect. I punked him out like a fifth grader in front of his friends, not once, but twice. I’m going to keep doing this until you acknowledge your Tribal Thief.
Backstage:
Asuka and Kairi Sane offered to be in IYO SKY’s corner tonight. IYO said I’ve beaten Roxanne before and I can beat her again. Thanks, but no thanks. I got it.
IYO SKY vs Roxanne Perez (w/ Raquel Rodriguez)
Raquel tried to interfere but IYO hit both of them with a moonsault off the second rope onto the floor. IYO threw Roxanne into the ring. She went to the top rope and went for a moonsault off the top rope but Roxanne got her knees up. Raquel got on the ring apron to distract the referee. As Roxanne climbed the turnbuckles, Asuka and Kairi Sane stopped her. As they held her, IYO charged at Roxanne. Roxanne moved out of the way and IYO stopped short of crashing into Asuka and Sane. Roxanne pushed IYO into Asuka and Sane, sending Asuka and Sane to the floor. She then rolled up IYO and pinned her while holding her tights.
Winner: Roxanne Perez
Backstage:
Jimmy Uso said he wasn’t at Raw last week because he was on family business. Receipts are coming. Seth Rollins is on notice because I haven’t received a rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship. LA Knight showed up. He said I can respect that you want the World Heavyweight Championship but the line starts behind me.
Backstage:
The Kabuki Warriors and IYO SKY argued in Japanese ending with Asuka pushing IYO and walking off.
Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch vs Maxxine Dupri (w/ Akira Tozawa & Natalya)
Becky blocked the sharpshooter. Maxxine hit Becky with a spinning kick. Maxxine rolled Becky up for a near fall. Becky escaped and got her in the Disarmer forcing Maxxine to tap out. As Natalya was checking on Maxxine, Lynch kicked Natalya and left the ring.
Winner: Becky LynchÂ
Backstage:
Seth Rollins told Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed that I was expecting to deal with a CM Punk problem. It turns out CM Punk has a LA Knight problem and LA Knight has a CM Punk problem. Thanks to Paul Heyman, they have a Bron-Bron problem and I have no problem at all. Tonight, it’s not about me. It’s about you guys. I’m out of this dump. I’ll see you next week.
Pre-tape interview: Bayley
Bayley said I don’t know how I got here. I’ve been doing this for 13 years and I’ve never felt the way I feel. I want more and feel less, I want more and feel nothing, and I think it’s my fault. I realized I could be a role model and an asset to this division. Now I’m here by myself. I feel everything leading up to this point has gotten me nowhere. I sit here without a championship and without any wins in the last year, and I can’t remember the last time that I felt proud of myself, and it’s my fault.
Backstage:
Lyra Valkyria said I hope Bayley is okay. How could I have known she felt like this? She shut me out. That has nothing to do with what I said to her last week. I stand by what I said last week. She is the reason why I can’t challenge for the Intercontinental title. I meant what I said. We need to go our separate ways. I don’t know what’s going on with her but it’s not my fault. She’s on her own.
Backstage:
Stephanie Vaquer told IYO SKY she was not the only one promised a title match, and then walked away. Rhea Ripley showed up and told IYO she was also looking forward to facing Naomi. I know Asuka and Kairi Sane are your friends but do you think you can trust them? IYO said I don’t appreciate what you are trying to say.
Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed (w/Paul Heyman) vs CM Punk & LA Knight
Seth Rollins interfered attacking Punk which caused the referee to ring the bell. Rollins, Breakker and Reed were beating up Punk and Knight when Jey Uso came to the ring with a chair. Jey hit Breakker with the chair on the way to the ring. Jey clubbed Reed with the chair sending him out of the ring.
Adam Pearce came out and told Seth Rollins he will defend the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash in Paris against Jey Uso, LA Knight, and CM Punk.
Punk and Knight argued. Punk tackled Knight and they started punching each other. Jey tried to pull Knight off Punk but Knight gave him a back elbow. Punk tried to give Knight a GTS. Knight escaped and Rollins, Breakker, and Reed re-entered the ring to attack Punk, Knight, and Jey. Rollins stomped Knight, Jey, and Punk to end the show.
