A new report has confirmed that “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard will be staying with All Elite Wrestling for the foreseeable future. Menard has reportedly signed a new long-term, five-year contract with the company.
Matt Menard’s New Five-Year AEW Contract
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, AEW sources have confirmed the new deal. Menard’s original contract was reportedly set to expire around the upcoming All In pay-per-view, but he has now extended his stay with a new five-year agreement that will run well into the summer of 2030. The report notes that Menard was “ecstatic to stay” with the promotion.
A New Role For ‘Daddy Magic’
In the past year, Menard has transitioned into a new role within AEW. While he still occasionally teams with his longtime partner, Angelo Parker, he has become a semi-active wrestler, competing only a few times in 2025.
His primary on-screen role has been as a member of the commentary team for various AEW programs. He is also noted as being a “well liked presence in the AEW locker room,” providing a veteran voice behind the scenes. The full report on his new contract can be heard on Fightful Select.
