Veteran WWE referee Charles Robinson had a frightening start to his morning, revealing that he was rushed to the hospital after being bitten by a bat inside his home.
Charles Robinson Bitten By A Bat
In a post on his Instagram account on Wednesday morning, the senior official, known to fans as “Lil’ Naitch,” shared the bizarre story. He explained that the incident happened in the middle of the night and resulted in a lengthy trip to the emergency room.
“Great way to start the morning. 2:00am and got bit by a bat. That’s right a bat! 4 hours later in the ER and six shots,” Robinson wrote, adding the hashtags #animalattacks and #hospital.
A Rough Few Weeks For The WWE Referee
This real-life incident is the latest in what has been an eventful few weeks for the referee. Last month, Robinson was involved in a major storyline angle at the Saturday Night’s Main Event special, where he suffered a broken rib after being accidentally speared by Goldberg during his retirement match.
Just last week, Robinson also had to take to his social media to debunk a malicious death hoax that was circulating online, assuring fans that he was alive and well. It is currently unknown if this incident will cause him to miss any time from his officiating duties. We wish him a speedy recovery.
