Speaking with Matt Black of WrestleZone, WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson made a strong case for a fellow Attitude Era star to join her in the Hall of Fame. Wilson stated unequivocally that Sable belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame and also named her personal Mount Rushmore of women’s wrestling.
When asked if Sable should be inducted, Wilson did not hesitate. “Absolutely she belongs in the Hall of Fame,” she stated. Wilson believes the induction is not only deserved but has likely been offered before. “I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve tried to put her in the Hall of Fame. It would be crazy to me if they haven’t reached out to her numerous times.”
Wilson placed Sable at the highest level of significance in the history of women’s wrestling, alongside another trailblazer. “Her and Chyna are like the two pinnacle women of wrestling, right?” she said. “So I definitely think that is long overdue. I don’t know if she wants or cares to be in it.”
The conversation then turned to Wilson’s own Mount Rushmore of women’s wrestling, where she included legends and current stars. “I’m gonna go Chyna, Sable, Rhea Ripley,” she began, before selecting her fourth and final pick. “Who gets that fourth spot? Man, there’s so many good ones. Bianca Belair.”
