REPORT: Karrion Kross & Scarlett Charging ‘Very High Price Tag’ For Indie Bookings

A new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that Karrion Kross and Scarlett are asking a “very high price tag” for their first appearances on the independent circuit.

Karrion Kross And Scarlett’s High Booking Fee

In the latest edition of the newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported on the initial reactions from the independent wrestling world to Kross and Scarlett becoming free agents. “One person involved in independent wrestling brought up they are charging a very high price tag,” Meltzer wrote.

Continued Skepticism Over Karrion Kross’s WWE Departure

The report also noted that this same person from the independent scene is skeptical about the legitimacy of their departure from WWE. “After the conversation said that they weren’t buying any of this,” the report continued.

This adds to the widespread speculation among many fans and some within the industry that Kross and Scarlett’s contract expiration is part of an elaborate storyline, or “work,” designed to blur the lines of reality.

The duo’s WWE contracts officially expired on August 10. In a recent interview, Kross confirmed that he had received a last-minute contract offer from the company, but it was rescinded after he asked for more information on its valuation.

The duo is scheduled for The Big Event EXS convention in New York on November 15. The full report can be found in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
