This Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite is the official go-home show for this Sunday’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view. The card is loaded with a trios match, a tag team tournament final, and a huge women’s tag team encounter.

Forbidden Door Main Eventers In AEW Dynamite Trios Action

In a preview of this Sunday’s Lights Out Steel Cage match, members of both teams will collide in a trios match. The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli) will take on the team of NJPW legend Hiroshi Tanahashi and Jet Speed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey).

More AEW Dynamite Action And Confrontations

The final of the AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament will take place as FTR takes on the new team of Brodido (Brody King & Bandido), with the winners challenging The Hurt Syndicate at Forbidden Door. In a women’s tag team match, “Timeless” Toni Storm and Alex Windsor will face the duo of TBS Champion Mercedes Mone and ROH Women’s World Champion Athena. The show will also feature an open challenge from Max Caster and a face-to-face confrontation between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay.

Also on the show, the new AEW World Champion, “Hangman” Adam Page, is scheduled to address the fans for the first time since being attacked by his Forbidden Door challenger, MJF, after last week’s Dynamite.

Tonight’s show is the final stop before the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view, which takes place this Sunday, August 24, from Wembley Stadium in London, England.
