The crossover between WWE and AAA is set to continue on Monday Night Raw. A new report from Fightful Espanol has confirmed that two of AAA’s top stars, the former AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo and Mr. Iguana, will be backstage for tonight’s episode of Raw in Philadelphia.
AAA Champion El Hijo Del Vikingo At WWE Raw
According to the report, both Vikingo and Mr. Iguana were in town by early Monday morning, just two days after competing at AAA’s biggest show of the year, Triplemania XXXIII.
The report notes that Vikingo is at the show to continue his feud with WWE’s Dominik Mysterio. Their rivalry is expected to carry over into the upcoming WWE Worlds Collide premium live event.
A Regular Presence For AAA Talent
It was also reported that Mr. Iguana is expected to appear “sporadically” across WWE programming in the future, as the company has been very happy with his work so far. This is part of a larger plan for a “semi-regular integration of AAA talent” on WWE’s shows.
