WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has shared his thoughts on the recent two-night SummerSlam premium live event, singling out the main event match between the new Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and John Cena for high praise.

While speaking to Kron4 in a new interview, the hardcore legend was asked if any recent matches had blown him away. He immediately pointed to the main event of Night Two of SummerSlam.
“Well, I was impressed with so many of the SummerSlam matches. Cody and Cena, I think really delivered the goods,” Foley said.
Foley On The State Of The WWE Roster
Foley’s praise wasn’t limited to just the main event. He also spoke highly of the current state of the WWE women’s division, specifically mentioning Rhea Ripley and the returning Becky Lynch.
“And I think what ‘Mami’ (Rhea Ripley) is doing briefly is sensational — I love that. Becky Lynch is back, so I think WWE is looking at some really good days,” he stated. “They’ve done a great job getting their talent ready for the main stage, and that pays off in the end.”
