Philadelphia Street Fight: Yoshiki Inamura vs Josh Briggs

With Briggs laid out on a table, Inamura came off the top rope with a splash for a two-count. Inamura brought in two more tables. Briggs had a chain wrapped around his forearm and delivered a lariat. He laid Inamura on the table and hit a moonsault off the top rope to pin him.

Winner: Josh Briggs

Over the weekend, Masha Slamovich told Ava and Santino Marella to make her the special guest referee for tonight’s tag team match between Fatal Influence and The Elegance Brand to ensure there is a fair and decisive winner. Ava and Santino agreed as long as she calls it down the middle.

Backstage:

Trick Williams said I beat Moose at Emergence. I will beat Je’Von Evans tonight and go on to beat Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at Heatwave.

Ricky Saints vs Jasper Troy

With Saints laid out on the ringside steps, Troy went for a splash on him and missed. Saints delivered a Tornado DDT and threw him back into the ring. He delivered another Tornado DDT and pinned him.

Winner: Ricky Saints

Backstage:

The Personal Concierge for the Elegance Brand told Ava not to allow Masha Slamovich to be the referee in their match tonight. Ava said it is official.

Jordynne Grace – Blake Monroe confrontation

Jordynne Grace said I came here thinking I would win championships but that hasn’t happened. I know I have weaknesses and that those may set me back at some point. What I didn’t expect to set me back was a friendship, however brief it may have been.

Blake Monroe came out with security. She said I had a contract drawn up. If you lay one finger on me, the match at Heatwave is off. I realized I don’t need to feel sorry for you. You feel sorry for yourself and that’s enough for me.

Jordynne said I was wrestling at Evolution while you were on the outside watching and that made you jealous of me. Blake said you’re not just an outsider, you’re a reject playing a superstar. Now that I’ve arrived, there isn’t enough room for both of us.

Jordynne attacked Blake’s security and told Blake I’m going to show you what ugly really looks like at Heatwave.

Backstage:

  • Sol Ruca told Jacy Jayne to take as many photos and make as many TikToks as you can while you’re the double champ because that’s all going to change on Sunday.
  • Je’Von Evans said Trick Williams knows I have his number. To get to Oba, I have to go through Trick.

The Elegance Brand (Heather, M, and Ash) (w/The Personal Concierge) vs Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx) with special guest referee Masha Slamovich

Slamovich was late with the cover as she was distracted by Henley and M fighting outside the ring, so Ash only got a two-count. Nyx made the tag to Jacy while Ash argued with Slamovich. Ash turned around and got hit by the Rolling Encore by Jacy and was pinned.

Winners: Fatal Influence

Backstage:

Charlie Dempsey gave Kendal Gray some wrestling advice. Kendal said I have a wrestling background. Wren Sinclair told Dempsey that Gray was 61-0 as a college wrestler. Gray walked away when the Culling showed up. Dempsey told them Sinclair could beat Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley at the same time.

Chelsea Green and Ethan Page – Tavion Heights and Tyra Mae Steele USA and Canada peace treaty

Page told Heights he is a world class athlete, but in our world, we don’t celebrate losers. Heights said you’re foolish for underestimating me that I can’t beat you for your title. Green told Steele that she was the first Women’s United States Champion. Steele said I’m an Olympic Gold Medalist and it represents the fact that I can take you down anytime and anyplace.

As they continued to argue, Ava came out and said at Heatwave, they will compete in a mixed tag team match. Green and Page jumped Heights and Steele. Heights and Steele fought back and caught them both in ankle locks until the Secret Hervice pulled them out.

Backstage:

  • Lexis King apologized to Myles Borne. He told him I was insensitive to your condition and I was mad at myself for losing to you. I didn’t know how you could wrestle at such a high level being deaf and blind. Borne said I’m not blind. King sprayed him in the eyes and said you are now.
  • Lash Legend told Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan that even though I’m not in the match at Heatwave, I’m still the biggest threat to that NXT Women’s Championship and walked away. Lola and Kelani told each other they were winning the title.
  • Darkstate told Ava that you put us against the biggest stars of NXT and TNA and we put them down. Joe Hendry appeared. Darkstate told him you either get behind us or we leave you behind.

Trick Williams vs Je’Von Evans

Williams blocked a cutter. Williams pushed Evans up in the air and punched him on the way down. Trick lowered his knee pad getting ready for the Trick Shot when Evans hit him with a superkick. Williams hit Evans with a Bookend and a spinning kick followed by an Attitude Adjustment for a near fall. Williams was setting up the Trick Shot but stopped when he saw Santana in the crowd. Evans hit Williams with a cutter. He went to the top rope when….the show went off the air as they had to go to the local station programming here.

Looking on X, there were 20 more seconds left in the match. Evans hit Williams with the cutter and pinned him.

Winner: Je’Von Evans
