A new report has confirmed that the recent on-air comments made by AEW star Will Ospreay regarding a neck injury are, in fact, legitimate. The “Aerial Assassin” is reportedly in need of neck surgery in the near future.

On a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Ospreay alluded to dealing with a neck issue, a comment that many fans took as maybe being part of a storyline, as he said he would be back in a few weeks and will now be working the Forbidden Door PPV.

According to a report from PWInsider.com, several sources have confirmed the severity of Ospreay’s condition. The report states that his need for surgery is real and something that he is expected to undergo soon.
