WWE superstar Pete Dunne made another surprise appearance outside of the company, showing up at the Riot Cabaret Pro Wrestling “Someone’s Knocking At The Door” event in London, England, on August 22.
Pete Dunne’s Surprise Riot Cabaret Appearance
“The Bruiserweight” appeared in the main event of the show, which saw Mark Andrews defend the Riot Cabaret Championship against Nico Angelo. After Angelo won the title, Andrews attacked him with a steel chair. It was at this moment that Dunne’s music hit, and he came to the ring to confront Andrews and make the save for the new champion.
Pete Dunne’s Independent Wrestling Excursions
This is the second time this month that Dunne has appeared for a non-WWE promotion. On August 2, he competed at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIV event, where he defeated Jonathan Gresham.
Dunne has been absent from WWE’s main roster television since April. However, on the July 28 episode of Monday Night Raw, a new masked man, who was clearly Dunne, appeared and interfered in the World Tag Team Championship match, making himself part of the ongoing El Grande Americano storyline.
