Following the horrifying incident involving Raja Jackson at a Knokx Pro Wrestling event this past weekend, WWE has quietly removed the promotion from its official Talent Recruitment website. The move appears to be a direct response to the situation that left a wrestler hospitalized.
WWE Severs Ties With Knokx Pro
As of Monday, August 25, all references to the Knokx Pro promotion and its training academy have been removed from the WWE Talent Recruitment website. The California-based school was previously listed as one of the company’s official partner training centers. WWE has not yet made a public comment on the decision.
The Raja Jackson Incident
The removal comes after a planned spot at a Knokx Pro event on Saturday night turned into a legitimate and dangerous attack. Raja Jackson, the son of MMA legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, entered the ring and legitimately knocked out a wrestler named Syko Stu. Jackson then continued to punch the unconscious wrestler until he was stopped by others.
Syko Stu was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries and was last reported to be in “stable but critical care.” The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident, which Knokx Pro Wrestling has publicly called a “selfish, irresponsible act of violence.”
The removal of Knokx Pro leaves four official partner schools listed on the WWE Talent Recruitment website: Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling, Seth Rollins’s Black & Brave Academy, Cody Rhodes’s Nightmare Factory, and Scott Reed & Mike Hollow’s Elite Pro Wrestling Training Center.
