WWE Talent Reaches Out To Will Ospreay

In a new interview with Metro ahead of the Forbidden Door pay-per-view, Ospreay shared that since the news of his serious neck injury became public, people from WWE have been in contact to offer their help and support.

“I’ve got people in (WWE) that I’ve never met before in my entire life, that have reached out because of this neck injury, and they have gone, ‘Hey, if you need a doctor, or if there’s any questions that need to be answered,’” Ospreay said. “Every single one of them are super lovely. And I wish them all the best. I really do,” he added.

Adam Copeland’s Support For Will Ospreay

Ospreay also highlighted the support he has received from within the AEW locker room, specifically from Adam Copeland, who has his own well-documented history with career-threatening neck injuries. “Cope has been amazing with my neck and my anxiety. He has been a real good guy to go to in his room and talk about this thing, and he’s put a lot of worries behind me,” he stated.

Ospreay is set to undergo surgery to correct herniated discs in his neck, and there is currently no timetable for his return. The full interview with Will Ospreay can be found on the Metro UK website.
