Former UFC Champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has once again addressed the violent incident involving his son, Raja Jackson, and independent wrestler Syko Stu. In a livestream on Tuesday, Jackson stated that while he has to “have my son’s back,” he does not “condone” his actions.
‘Rampage’ Jackson’s Livestream Statement
This is the second time Jackson has spoken publicly about the incident, which saw his son legitimately knock out and injure Stu at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event.
“I feel bad about what happened to Syko Stu,” Rampage said. “I don’t condone what my son did, very unfortunate…I wasn’t there. I’m a father, I gotta have my son’s back. I’m going to let justice play out, take this to court…I can’t talk about any details or stuff like that.”
A Message To Syko Stu
Jackson also expressed his remorse for the injured wrestler and his family. “This s*** has put me in a bad mood. I feel bad about Syko Stu and his family, his family had to see that s***,” he said.
“Hopefully one day I can meet Syko Stu and shake his hand and have a man-to-man with him and stuff,” he continued. “I don’t got the right words to say, the haters are going to twist my words…Ya’ll need to know I don’t condone Raja’s conduct. And I hope Syko Stu can forgive me, myself, as a dad, for not understanding everything.”
Jackson’s latest comments come as Syko Stu remains hospitalized and the LAPD is doing an investigation into the incident. A GoFundMe to help with Stu’s medical expenses continues to receive support from the wrestling community.
