An update has been provided on the upcoming filming schedule for the new “Street Fighter” movie, which is set to star Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.
Cody Rhodes And Roman Reigns’ ‘Street Fighter’ Filming Schedule
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that both Rhodes and Reigns, along with NJPW’s Hirooki Goto, will be beginning their filming commitments “imminently.” It was specifically noted that Cody Rhodes “will be done filming by 9/20.”
A Crossover Of WWE Filming Dates
The report adds another interesting detail about the production schedule. “I was told that Rhodes and Reigns’ filming dates are noted the same and there is some crossover on dates both will be there, but not a lot,” Meltzer wrote. Cody Rhodes has already been spotted in Australia, where the movie is being filmed, indicating that his absence from WWE programming will begin with today’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Cody Rhodes is currently in a new feud with Drew McIntyre. At the same time, Roman Reigns is feuding with the World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, and his faction, The Vision. Reigns meets Bronson Reed this Sunday at Clash in Paris.
