A new report has raised concerns about the health of AEW star Kenny Omega. According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the former AEW World Champion is currently “battling very serious pain.”
Kenny Omega’s Health Status
The report from Dave Meltzer does not specify the nature or cause of the pain, but the news is concerning, given Omega’s return from a long and serious illness. The report comes just days after his performance at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
This past Sunday, at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door event in London, England, Omega was part of the winning ten-man team in the main event Lights Out Steel Cage match.
A History Of Kenny Omega Health Issues
This is not the first time Omega has dealt with health problems. He was on an extended hiatus from late 2023 through the summer of 2024 while recovering from a serious bout of diverticulitis that required surgery. His return has helped give AEW a boost of star power.
