The following was issued to us:

The World Wrestling Council (WWC) celebrated its 52nd Anniversary on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the iconic Coliseo Rubén Rodríguez in Bayamón. The event drew thousands of fans for a night filled with interesting matches, including a Universal Championship defense, and a retirement match.

Per PRWrestling.com, In one of the top matches, Ray González defeated Eddie “Primo” Colón in a retirement match, forcing Colón, 42, to retire from in-ring competition, according to the stipulation. Colón was accompanied by Intelecto and Orlando Toledo (referee), while González had Pelayito, Lightning, Gilbert, Joe Anthony, and Amazona in his corner. Post-match, Colón expressed frustration with Intelecto, foreshadowing things to come later.

In the Main Event, Xavant captured the Universal Championship by defeating Chicano, Carlito, and Matt Hardy, when he stole the pin after a Backstabber to Hardy to claim the title.

After the match, chaos erupted as Eddie Colón attacked Xavant. During the brawl, Lightning betrayed Gilbert, turning heel and aligning with Chicano.

Intelecto intervened with a shovel, turning babyface, so we had a double turn. The segment concluded with a heated exchange between Colón and Xavant.
