Ric Flair Not Surprised By WWE 2K25 Omission, Says “You Don’t Make Any Money Anyway”

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is not surprised that he was not included in the recently released “WWE 2K25″ video game. In a new interview, Flair, who is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling, stated that he didn’t expect to be in the game and that it doesn’t bother him because the financial compensation is not significant unless you are on the cover.

While speaking with Escapist Magazine, the 16-time World Champion was asked if he was surprised by his absence from the latest installment of the video game franchise. Flair explained that due to his current contract with AEW, he did not expect to be included.

“I knew about it, but I didn’t expect to be, as I’m still under contract at AEW,” Flair said. “Unless you’re on the cover, you don’t make any money anyway. Maybe 0.3% or some d–n thing!”

The cover of this year’s “WWE 2K25” features several of the company’s biggest stars. The standard edition has Roman Reigns on the cover, while a special “Deadman” edition features The Undertaker. There is also a “Bloodline” edition. Flair signed with All Elite Wrestling in November 2023. His last on-screen appearance for the company was in May 2025, during a tribute to the late Steve “Mongo” McMichael on an episode of AEW Collision.

Before that, he was in the corner for Sting’s retirement match at the Revolution pay-per-view in March 2024. The full interview with Ric Flair can be found in the latest issue of Escapist Magazine.
