WWE Superstar CM Punk is scheduled to be a featured guest on the upcoming 12th season of Kevin Hart’s popular interview series, “Cold As Balls”. Hart’s company, Hartbeat, announced the new season today, confirming Punk’s appearance alongside a list of top athletes from the worlds of the NFL, NBA, and skateboarding.
The series, which streams on the LOL Network YouTube channel, features Hart conducting in-depth interviews with sports figures while both are sitting in ice baths. The new season is set to premiere on Tuesday, September 9, and will kick off with an episode featuring legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady. Season 12 will also include the show’s 100th episode and was filmed in front of a live audience for the first time.
“Twelve seasons in, and we’re still raising the stakes!” said host Kevin Hart in the official press release. “With a live audience amping up the energy, we’re taking this season to new heights.” The show’s creator, Michael D. Ratner, added, “It’s only fitting that we shoot our 100th episode live with the likes of Tom Brady and Victor Wembanyama.”
CM Punk will be a part of an accomplished guest list for the six-episode season. Other guests announced for Season 12 include Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, professional skateboarder Paul Rodriguez, and San Antonio Spurs forward-center Victor Wembanyama.
CM Punk is the latest in a line of high-profile WWE personalities to be featured on the acclaimed series. In past seasons, Kevin Hart has sat down for interviews with several other WWE Hall of Famers and superstars. Previous guests from the world of professional wrestling have included The Undertaker, Ric Flair, and The Bella Twins (Nikki and Brie Bella).
New episodes of “Cold as Balls” will air every Tuesday on the LOL Network YouTube channel. The specific air date for CM Punk’s episode has not yet been announced. Check out the teaser below.
