Alexa Bliss Seemingly Responds To Ronda Rousey’s Comments About Their 2018 Feud

After Ronda Rousey made some critical comments about her 2018 feud with Alexa Bliss, the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion seemingly responded with a subtle but pointed social media post.

The situation began when Rousey, appearing on “The Lapsed Fan” podcast, expressed her frustration with being booked in a program with Bliss. She claimed the decision was based on business metrics. “You wanna know why they had me against Alexa Bliss? Because she had the most merch sales at the time. Like, what the f**k? That’s your decision-making process?” Rousey said, calling the booking “f**king ridiculous.”

The comments drew a sarcastic response from AEW star MJF, who wrote, “It’s almost like pro wrestling much like any professional sport functions as a business. F**king crazy.” While not as direct, Alexa Bliss also took to her social media to offer her own take on the situation.

In a post that was clearly a response to the controversy, Bliss wrote a simple, four-word message. “I love our business 🖤,” she posted.  The public exchange comes as the two women are on very different paths in their careers. Ronda Rousey has stated in the same interview that she is “pretty much” retired from professional wrestling and has no plans to return.

Alexa Bliss, on the other hand, is at the top of the tag team division. Bliss recently won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with Charlotte Flair at the SummerSlam premium live event. The full interview with Ronda Rousey can be heard on “The Lapsed Fan” podcast.
