WWE Will Be Making A ‘Huge Announcement’ On Friday

Triple H, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, posted on social media that the company will make “a huge announcement” on WWE’s YouTube channel this Friday at 3:00pm ET/12:00pm PT. In his tweet, he wrote: “I told you we’d change the game. And we’re just getting started.”

Multiple reports suggest this announcement may confirm that WrestleMania 43 will be held in Saudi Arabia in 2027. The Kingdom has been in discussions with WWE under a 10-year agreement initiated in 2018, which already includes several WWE premium live events in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi advisor Turki Alalshikh made a Snapchat video on Wendesday stating: “WrestleMania has been announced, for the first time outside of America, WrestleMania in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2027.” A press release in Arabic was released and then pulled. The announcement is expected soon.

If confirmed, this would mark the first WrestleMania held outside the United States or Canada. All previous WrestleManias have taken place in North America. Saudi Arabia is also set to host the Royal Rumble in January 2026.

There’s also been talk about Wrestlepalooza becoming a WrestleMania-like event and Bryan Alvarez said on Wrestling Observer Live that there’s been talk about the possibility of WWE adding a second WrestleMania in 2027 for fans to travel to.
