A new report has revealed that All Elite Wrestling has signed a five-year deal to bring its events to Australia. The agreement, which is with the touring and promotions company TEG Sport, will see AEW hold events in the country annually through 2029.
The news was revealed on a recent episode of Wrestle Radio Australia. The hosts of the show noted that AEW had signed the five-year deal with TEG Sport last year and that it will run through 2029. No other specific details of the agreement were provided. TEG Sport is a division of the larger TEG company and is responsible for helping major global brands establish a presence in Australia and other international markets.
The report on the five-year deal comes just weeks after the dates and locations for AEW’s 2026 return to Australia were announced. The tour will feature two events: an AEW Grand Slam special on Saturday, February 14, from Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, and an AEW House Rules live event on Sunday, February 15, from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
AEW’s first-ever show in Australia took place this past February at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre and was a success for the company. The event was the third-largest gate in AEW history at the time, with an estimated attendance of over 11,000 fans. The show was later aired as a two-hour special in the AEW Collision time slot, and matches were also taped for Ring of Honor.
Fans in Australia can now look forward to annual visits from All Elite Wrestling. The full discussion on the five-year deal can be heard on the latest episode of Wrestle Radio Australia.
