ESPN Schedules Multiple WWE Specials Ahead Of Wrestlepalooza 2025

ESPN is mounting a full promotional campaign ahead of WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025, with several WWE-related shows scheduled in the week leading up to the pay-per-view. The event is confirmed for Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Preview programming begins Thursday, September 19, with ESPN Wrestlepalooza Special at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Multiple replays are expected across ESPN2 and ESPN News. On Friday, September 20, Road to Wrestlepalooza will air at 4 p.m. ET, offering storyline recaps and interviews with WWE talent preparing for the event.

Wrestlepalooza will stream live in the U.S. on ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer service as part of WWE’s shift away from Peacock. The kickoff time is 7 p.m. ET. A Spanish-language version is set for ESPN Unlimited, which will also carry the Wrestlepalooza Post Show immediately following the main event.

The confirmed match card so far includes:

  • Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer — Singles match for the Vacant Women’s World Championship
  • The Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) vs. The Vision (Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker) — Tag Team Match
  • CM Punk & AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch — Mixed Tag Team Match
  • John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar — Singles Match

This event marks the first Wrestlepalooza under the WWE banner and the company’s first Premium Live Event (PLE) on ESPN platforms in the United States. The partnership between WWE and ESPN, announced earlier in 2025, includes live streaming of premium events via ESPN Unlimited, along with expanded crossover coverage on ESPN’s TV and digital channels.

Wrestlepalooza is part of a larger deal between WWE and the Indiana Sports Corp, which also includes future WWE event dates in Indianapolis for major shows.
