Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw from the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, is the official go-home show for this Saturday’s inaugural Wrestlepalooza premium live event. The broadcast is set to feature the return of John Cena to his home state, a face-to-face confrontation between the four superstars involved in the mixed tag team match, and more. The show will air at a special, earlier start time of 7 p.m. ET as part of a three-week experiment against the NFL’s “Monday Night Football.”
John Cena will be live on Raw tonight in his home state of Massachusetts. He is just five days away from his singles match against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza. “The Beast” made his presence felt on last week’s SmackDown, and Cena is expected to have his final words for Lesnar on tonight’s show.
Also on the show, all four participants in the mixed tag team match at Wrestlepalooza will be in the same ring for a face-to-face confrontation. The World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and the Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch will go face-to-face with their opponents, CM Punk and the returning AJ Lee.
In other in-ring action, Lyra Valkyria will look to get back to her winning ways after a tough loss last week as she takes on The Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez. The rivalry between Penta and The New Day will continue as Penta goes one-on-one with Kofi Kingston. Also, Dragon Lee is set to face El Grande Americano in a match.
Monday Night Raw airs live tonight at 7 p.m. ET on Netflix.
