AEW Star’s Return Continues To Be Teased

The slow-burning storyline between the suspended Jack Perry and The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) continued on the latest episode of the “Being The Elite” YouTube series, with Perry sending his most ominous message yet. The ongoing teases have played out on the weekly web series and on social media.

In the new episode, which was released on Monday, September 15, Matt Jackson is shown receiving a package in the mail. Upon opening it, he discovers a large, hand-crafted knife inside, accompanied by a note that reads, “For the next time you want to stab me in the back.” This is a direct follow-up to a segment on a previous episode where Matt was shown ignoring a phone call from Perry.

The storyline has also been advanced on Perry’s personal Instagram account, where he has posted several images of knives that he has been making, blurring the lines between fiction and reality. Also on the new episode of “Being The Elite,” titled “Gambling 500K on slots,”

The Young Bucks were shown using the $500,000 prize money they won on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite to gamble on slot machines, continuing their on-screen narrative of recklessness following the loss of their EVP titles. It’s still unclear when Perry will be back on AEW television.

At Full Gear last November, Perry lost the TNT Championship to Daniel Garcia, ending his reign at 146 days. That was the last time Perry has wrestled for AEW.
