WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025: Start Time, Full Match Card, And How To Stream On ESPN

WWE will present Wrestlepalooza this Saturday, September 20, live at 7pm Eastern from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The event is the first to be broadcast under a new agreement with ESPN, and this change from Peacock has led to questions from viewers regarding access. This guide provides the full match card, storyline details, and an explanation of how to watch, including which television providers will and will not offer access.

The event is the fifth to be called Wrestlepalooza but the first produced by WWE. The show’s lineup includes one of John Cena’s last matches, Brock Lesnar’s first match since SummerSlam 2023, and AJ Lee’s first match in more than 10 years.

The New WWE and ESPN Agreement

Wrestlepalooza is the first main roster premium live event covered by a five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN Inc., succeeding the company’s previous arrangement with Peacock. While the switch was originally planned for April 2026, the move was initiated early, making this show the debut of WWE premium live events on ESPN’s platforms in the United States.

This broadcast arrangement offers two ways for viewers in the United States to watch. The first is through a direct subscription to ESPN’s “Unlimited” streaming service. The second is through TV Everywhere authentication, which allows subscribers of participating television providers to access the event on the ESPN app.

How to Watch: TV Provider Access

A point of clarification for viewers is which television providers have reached agreements to support authentication for WWE events on ESPN. Several major providers have not signed on to carry the new service at launch.

Subscribers to the following major television providers will not be able to authenticate with their TV login to watch Wrestlepalooza on the ESPN app:

  • Altice
  • Dish Network
  • Xfinity
  • YouTube TV

Customers of these services will need to purchase a separate subscription to ESPN Unlimited to watch the event. Viewers with other television providers should check the ESPN app to confirm their access. For international audiences in most countries, the event will be available to livestream on Netflix.

Wrestlepalooza 2025: Full Match Card

  • John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar
  • Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
  • Mixed Tag Team Match: CM Punk and AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch
  • Tag Team Match: The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) vs. The Vision (Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker)
  • Vacant Women’s World Championship: Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer

John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar

The main event features a match between John Cena and Brock Lesnar. After losing the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam, John Cena was attacked by a returning Brock Lesnar. Weeks later on SmackDown, Lesnar again interfered in one of Cena’s matches and followed up with another attack, after which he stated he would see Cena at Wrestlepalooza, making the match official.

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

The storyline between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre continued on the August 8 episode of SmackDown, when McIntyre attacked Rhodes with the title belt and put him through the announce table. A month later, after McIntyre defeated Randy Orton, he prepared to do the same to Orton. Rhodes made his return to assist Orton, and following a brawl with McIntyre, stated he would see him at Wrestlepalooza for the championship.

CM Punk and AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch

This storyline began at SummerSlam when Seth Rollins successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on CM Punk just moments after Punk had won the World Heavyweight Championship. At the subsequent Clash in Paris event, Rollins retained the title in a fatal four-way match after his wife, Becky Lynch, interfered by delivering a low-blow to Punk. After another confrontation, Punk’s wife, AJ Lee, returned to WWE for the first time since 2015, leading to a mixed tag team match being set for Wrestlepalooza.

The Usos vs. The Vision

Jey Uso has been in a storyline rivalry with the faction known as The Vision. Following a tag team loss to members Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, Jey was subjected to a post-match attack. The attack prompted his brother, Jimmy Uso, to run in and make the save. The following week, The Usos announced they had spoken with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and would face Breakker and Reed at Wrestlepalooza, which will be their first premium live event tag team match together since Money in the Bank 2023.

Vacant Women’s World Championship: Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer

The Women’s World Championship was vacated after champion Naomi relinquished the title. Stephanie Vaquer had previously won the Evolution Battle Royal to earn a future title opportunity. With the championship vacant, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that Vaquer would face a new opponent to determine the new champion. That opponent was revealed to be former champion Iyo Sky, who was granted the opportunity because she was not pinned in her triple threat title match against Naomi at SummerSlam.
