Triple H – Shawn Michaels kick off the show

Triple H started the show and said it feels good to come home. He said NXT exists because of the passion of the fans and the talent. Shawn Michaels came to the ring. He said the NXT Superstars are ready to steer the ship into the future. HHH asked Shawn Michaels what would happen if he wanted to come back. Michaels tongue said we would have a big problem. Steve Regal came out and said, “War Games.” This was said in tongue and cheek.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss came out. Charlotte said the women have always run NXT because this is where the women’s revolution started.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss (Champions) vs The Culling (Izzi Dame & Tatum Paxley) (w/Shawn Spears & Niko Vance)

Paxley got her knees up as Bliss came off the top turnbuckle with the Twisted Bliss.  She went for the cover with her foot on the ropes but Bliss kicked out. Paxley missed the 450 off the turnbuckle on Bliss. Bliss hit the Sister Abigail on Paxley and pinned her to retain the championship.

Winners and still WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss

Backstage:

Sol Ruca and Zaria argued with each other. Lainey Reed, followed by Candice LeRae entered. They argued about who is winning the Speed tournament as the winner will be facing Ruca for the Speed title at No Mercy.

Shayna Baszler walked in, causing Reed and LeRae to leave. Baszler told Ruca and Zaria to work out their differences.

Trick Williams & Carmelo Hayes vs #DIY (Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano)

DIY hit Hayes with the Shatter Machine followed by the Meet in the Middle. Gargano went for the pinfall but Williams broke it up. Gargano lunged at Williams but Williams tossed him through the ropes to the floor. With the referee calling the action in the ring, The Miz showed up and gave Gargano the Skull Crushing Finale on the floor. He threw Gargano into the ring and Hayes hit him with the leg off the top rope to pin him.

Winners: Trick Williams & Carmelo Hayes

Backstage: 

Sami Zayn said it’s great to be back in NXT tonight. He sees a lot of great talent down here, in particular, one that reminds him of himself, Je’Von Evans. Josh Briggs entered and told Zayn to forget about Evans as he’s just a kid. Evans superkicked Briggs and they had to be separated. Zayn told Evans he came here to tell him he has a big future. Zayn reminded him it didn’t come easy for him, and it won’t come easy for Evans, but the sky is the limit.

North American Championship Match: Ethan Page (Champion) vs Tyler Breeze

AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr was shown near ringside. Breeze hit Page with a superkick for a near fall. He went to the top rope but Page went to the top rope and hit him with the Twisted Grin to pin him to retain the championship. After the match, Wagner pointed to his belt and then pointed to Page.

Winner and still North American Champion: Ethan Page

Backstage:

Damian Priest told Tavion Heights he’s been watching him and he’s so close to making it to the next level. He told Tavion that he believes in him so much that he talked to Ava and got him a title match with Ethan Page at No Mercy.

The Grayson Waller Effect: Oba Femi & Ricky Saints

Femi said he is not impressed with Saints. Saints said he tried to make it here 8 years ago but got an e-mail that said, no. He realized that a delay is not a denial and he will always gamble on himself. He said at No Mercy, he will not be denied and will become champion.

Trick Williams came out and told Oba he’s holding something that belongs to him which is the NXT Championship. He told Saints to mind his own business because this started before he got here.

Waller said he’s going to talk to Ava and Santino Marella to see if a match can be booked with Williams and Oba in a title for title (TNA vs NXT) match with the winner facing Ricky Saints at No Mercy, which both agreed to.

Backstage:

Charlie Dempsey told Wren Sinclair that they’ve fallen on hard times. He needs to refocus which is why he’s going to Japan while she holds down the fort. He plans on coming back as a new man. Bobby Roode showed up followed by Joe Hendry. Roode told Hendry that he needs to focus on winning the TNA Championship and he will be rooting for him. As they left, Dempsey told Wren not to do anything he wouldn’t do while he’s gone.

Finn Balor returns

Lexis King said he talked to Ava and got a light’s out match set for next week against Myles Borne. Finn Balor’s music played and he got on the ring apron, which allowed Borne to get in the ring and hit the sling blade on King. Balor then came off the top rope onto King with the Coup de Grace and shook hands with Borne.

Backstage:

Montez Ford told Dark State that he sees the NXT Tag Championships and sees a lot of memories looking at those titles.

Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Jazmyn Nyx) vs Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, and Lyra Valkyria

Vaquer hit the Devil’s Kiss on Henley while Ripley hit it on Jayne. Vaquer ran Henley’s head into the announce desk. Jayne tried to leave the match but Lola Vice met her and gave her a spinning backhand which sent Jayne back in the ring. Ripley then hit the Riptide on Jayne and pinned her.

Winners: Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, and Lyra Valkyria

Backstage:
Ava agreed to the match with Oba Femi vs Trick Williams in an NXT/TNA title unification match.
