REPORT: WWE In Talks For El Grande Americano Sponsor

WWE may be looking to secure a major sponsorship deal centered around one of its most unique characters, El Grande Americano. According to a new report from WrestleVotes Radio, sources indicate that WWE has engaged in discussions with a major food and beverage company for a potential promotional, sponsorship, and dual branding agreement tied to the masked luchador.

While the report confirms that talks have taken place, it notes there is currently no indication if or when a deal might be finalized. “Sources indicate that WWE and a major food and beverage company have been in discussions about a promotional, sponsorship, and dual branding agreement tied to El Grande American.”

WrestleVotes continued, “While we can confirm that talks have taken place, there is currently no indication of when, or even if, a deal may be finalized. El Grande Americano, who’s been featured on TV regularly, could be in for a bigger role if this endorsement winds up happening.”

The El Grande Americano character debuted in March 2025, introduced as a 202 lb luchador from the “Gulf of America” who was already a legendary wrestler in the world of Lucha Libre. He made an immediate impact by aligning with Chad Gable’s “American Made” faction. The identity of the man under the mask has been a running gag for fans. Initially portrayed by Gable, an injury forced a change, leading WWE to begin rotating other performers like Ludwig Kaiser and Pete Dunne into the role.
