Boca Raton Championship Wrestling (BRCW) has officially announced a generational showdown for its upcoming November Knockdown event: Ricky Morton vs. Kerry Morton, set for Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the VIP Ballroom (2200 Yamato Road, Boca Raton, FL).
The announcement came in the aftermath of BRCW Summer Smash 3, where WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Morton competed in a championship match against Steve Maclin. Following the bout, tensions between Ricky and his son Kerry boiled over when Ricky addressed him directly in an emotional statement:
“Kerry, you let Steve Maclin come between you and me. If I’m your father, you’re my son, and I love you with everything I got. But you let him use you to get to me, and that bothers me.”
The declaration immediately set the stage for a rare father vs. son match in Boca Raton. Founder Matthew Maschler confirmed the bout on the spot, officially locking it in for November Knockdown.
