How to Watch WWE Wrestlepalooza

Wrestlepalooza marks a change in the broadcast home for WWE’s major events. Below are the full details on how to watch in the United States and internationally.

In the United States: The event will stream exclusively live on the ESPN app via the ESPN Unlimited service. Viewers have two options to access the stream:

  1. Via a TV Provider: If your cable, satellite, or live TV streaming service subscription includes the ESPN network, you may be able to watch at no additional cost. To do so, you must authenticate your subscription through the ESPN app or on ESPN.com. This process requires you to select your provider from a list and sign in using the username and password associated with that provider’s account.
    • Important Provider Information: At the time of this new service’s launch, several major television providers had not yet reached agreements for this authentication. These include Altice, Cox, Dish Network, Xfinity, and YouTube TV. Subscribers to these services will not be able to authenticate and will need to use the direct subscription option.
  2. Via Direct Subscription (ESPN Unlimited): For those without a qualifying TV provider, a direct-to-consumer subscription to ESPN’s “Unlimited” streaming service is available. This option allows you to purchase access directly from ESPN. A subscription is expected $29.99 per month. Please check the official ESPN website for current pricing and to sign up.

International Viewers: For audiences watching from outside of the United States, Wrestlepalooza will stream live on Netflix.

Wrestlepalooza Match Card and Storylines

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Drew McIntyre On the August 8 episode of SmackDown, Drew McIntyre attacked Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes with the title belt following a tag team match. One month later, on the September 12 episode, Rhodes returned to assist Randy Orton during a post-match attack from McIntyre. After a brawl between the two, Rhodes announced he would face McIntyre at Wrestlepalooza, with the championship match being made official shortly after.

Singles Match: John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar After John Cena lost his Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam, he was confronted and attacked by a returning Brock Lesnar, who was making his first appearance since SummerSlam 2023. On the September 5 episode of SmackDown, Lesnar again attacked Cena, causing Cena’s match to end in a no-contest. Following the attack, Lesnar stated he would see Cena at Wrestlepalooza, setting up the non-title match.

Mixed Tag Team Match: CM Punk & AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch At SummerSlam, Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to win the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk. At Clash in Paris, Rollins retained the title in a match involving Punk after Rollins’ wife, Becky Lynch, interfered. On subsequent WWE programming, Lynch confronted Punk, which led to Punk’s wife, AJ Lee, returning to WWE for the first time since 2015. On Raw, Lee proposed a mixed tag team match, which Rollins accepted, scheduling Lee’s first match in over ten years.

Vacant Women’s World Championship: Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer At the Evolution event, Stephanie Vaquer won a battle royal to earn a future women’s world championship match. The title was later won by Naomi, who cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on then-champion Iyo Sky. A planned one-on-one title match between Naomi and Sky was cancelled, and Naomi later relinquished the championship due to her real-life pregnancy. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce then announced that Vaquer would face Sky at Wrestlepalooza to determine the new champion.

Tag Team Match: The Usos vs. The Vision (Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker) Following a period of rivalry between Jey Uso and The Vision, Jey lost a tag team match to Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed on Raw. After the match, Breakker and Reed attacked Jey, which prompted his twin brother from SmackDown, Jimmy Uso, to intervene. The following week, it was announced that The Usos would officially reunite as a team to face Breakker and Reed at Wrestlepalooza.
