Former WWE Star Beth Copeland Debuts At AEW All Out, Gets Hit With Spike Piledriver By FTR

During the AEW All Out pay-per-view event in Toronto, former WWE Superstar Beth Phoenix, now using her real name Beth Copeland, made her debut for All Elite Wrestling. Her appearance occurred during the tag team match pitting her husband, Adam Copeland, and Christian Cage against FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler).

The match itself featured several tributes, with Adam Copeland utilizing the signature moves of his former rival John Cena, drawing chants from the Toronto crowd. Later in the match, Copeland and Cage applied simultaneous Sharpshooters to both members of FTR. The bout reached a critical point when FTR’s manager, Stokely Hathaway, interfered by pulling the referee out of the ring to break up a pinfall attempt by Adam Copeland.

This action prompted unrecognized entrance music to play as the name “Beth” appeared on the arena’s video screen. Beth Copeland then ran to the ring and neutralized Hathaway with a spear. After being identified by the broadcast team by her real name, she carried Hathaway to the backstage area. The match concluded shortly after, with Adam Copeland hitting a spear on Cash Wheeler for the pinfall victory.

Following the match, Beth Copeland returned to the ring to celebrate with her husband and Christian Cage. The celebration was cut short by the appearance of The Patriarchy (Mother Wayne, Nick Wayne, and Kip Sabian) on the entrance ramp, creating a distraction that allowed FTR to attack Copeland and Cage from behind.

The post-match assault escalated as Kip Sabian handcuffed Adam Copeland to the ring ropes. FTR then hit Christian Cage with a spike piledriver. As Beth Copeland attempted to free her husband, he urged her to leave the ring for her own safety.

Instead, she chose to confront FTR, throwing punches at both Harwood and Wheeler. The duo overpowered her, and with her husband unable to intervene, FTR delivered a spike piledriver to Beth Copeland in the center of the ring. After FTR and The Patriarchy left, Adam Copeland was eventually freed from the handcuffs and tended to his wife as the segment concluded. Click here for complete AEW All Out results.
