However, another potential direction for Rhodes was also suggested during the post-show press conference. The panel indicated that a rematch between Rhodes and Drew McIntyre could happen in the near future.
With several other events on the calendar, including Saturday Night’s Main Event and Survivor Series, a rematch with McIntyre could potentially take place at one of those shows. This leaves the identity of Rhodes’s next official challenger unconfirmed, despite the clear challenge issued by Rollins.
