Amid recent rumors that their partnership was coming to an end, toy manufacturer Jazwares has provided an official statement clarifying the status of its action figure license with AEW. The statement, provided by Jazwares Chief Brand Officer Jeremy Padawer, confirms that the company will continue to produce new AEW and Ring of Honor products into 2026.
This news comes after a post from a Reddit insider gained traction over the past few days, claiming that Jazwares would no longer have the AEW license, sparking concern among collectors. The official statement was revealed to the public by Matt Cardona on the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast.
Cardona read the message he received directly from Padawer, which stated, “I think it’s fair to say you’ve talked to me and from everything you understand and I’ve said, we are making AEW product in 2026”. While this confirms that new figures are secured for the immediate future, Cardona and Brian Myers shared some skepticism about the long-term health of the partnership. “Something’s up, though,” Myers said. Cardona added, “Usually where there’s smoke, there’s fire, right? But time will tell. We do know, as far as we know, 2026 will have new AEW/Ring of Honor Jazwares product, which is a good sign.”
The partnership between AEW and Jazwares began in 2020, marking AEW’s entry into the action figure market. The line, which includes the popular “Unrivaled” and “Unmatched” series, has been widely praised by collectors for its high level of detail. Jazwares, which was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway in 2022, is also famous for producing the popular Squishmallows line of stuffed animals.
