Ash By Elegance Vacates TNA Knockouts World Championship, Steps Away From In-Ring Competition

During the TNA Victory Road event tonight, Ash By Elegance relinquished the TNA Knockouts World Championship. In an in-ring promo, she announced that she is stepping away from competition and must forfeit the title.

Addressing the crowd, Ash By Elegance explained her decision, stating that her personal circumstances have made her unable to continue performing. “Unfortunately, as you know, life throws you some curveballs, and that’s exactly what I’m going through,” she said. “I’m no longer able to compete and do what I love to do. So with that being said, I’m stepping away from in-ring competition, and with a heavy heart, I have to forfeit this title”.

She reflected on her time in TNA, noting that she arrived at a difficult point in her life but found a home with the company. “A year and a half ago, I came here with a goal in mind, but I was mentally defeated, but I quickly realized that TNA was my home,” she stated. “And that locker room in each and every one of you became my family”.

Her goal as champion, she explained, was to represent the company to the best of her ability. “I came to TNA to elevate this title and to represent this company with my best ability,” she said. Despite having to relinquish the belt, she expressed faith in the rest of the TNA Knockouts division to continue that legacy. “I am confident in that locker room and whichever woman holds this title up high, they will elevate it just like I had planned to”.

In her final message to the audience, she acknowledged her on-screen persona while thanking the fans for their support. “It was an honor to perform in front of each and every one of you, and whether you cheered for me or booed for me,” she said, before adding, “and let’s be honest, you booed for me because I was a complete stuck up bitch to all of you”.

“You guys gave me the best moments of my entire life,” she concluded. “So thank you, and I’ll miss you”. Following her announcement, the TNA Knockouts World Championship is now vacant.
