Parker Boudreaux On Potential WWE Return With Paul Heyman: “A Full Circle Moment”

In a recent interview on WrestlingNews.co’s “The Velvet Ropes with SoCal Val,” Parker Boudreaux discussed his ongoing mentorship with WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman, fueling the idea that he could one day return to the company as the next “Paul Heyman Guy”. Boudreaux detailed how Heyman brought him into the business and continues to guide his career, expressing his hope to one day work with him on-screen.

Boudreaux explained that his relationship with Heyman began when he was still young and playing football. “Paul Heyman was recruiting me at a young age,” Boudreaux said. “Not many people get the rub from Paul Heyman, especially at a young age like I did. And for him to be not only like a mentor for somebody that brought me into the business, showed me how to really work and to become one of those elite Paul Heyman guys, it’s an honor, man”.

That mentorship has continued long after his WWE release. Boudreaux revealed that he and Heyman are in frequent contact and that the Hall of Famer still plays an active role in his development. “It’s a privilege to be having a great relationship to this day with him. I still talk to him very, very often, and he still critiques all my matches,” he stated. “So I think in the future would be to work with him… at some point. That would be kind of like a full circle moment”.

Despite being released by the company, Boudreaux made it clear he has no ill will toward WWE and maintains many relationships there. “I could never say anything bad about WWE. I had an amazing time in WWE. I was very thankful for my time there,” he said. He noted he is still in regular contact with wrestlers like Bronson Reed and Carmelo Hayes, as well as producers like Adam Pearce and coaches, valuing the feedback he receives from them.

Boudreaux is currently focused on honing his craft worldwide, wrestling multiple times a week and taking tours in Japan and Mexico to gain experience. He is working on every aspect of his performance, from in-ring work to promos and character development. “I’ve never been more locked in, I would say, in my life. And I just live, breathe pro wrestling,” Boudreaux stated.

He views his ongoing connection with Heyman as a standard to live up to, recognizing the track record of talent Heyman has managed. “As the Paul Heyman guys… if you look back at it, they’ve all mostly had a long career, and they’ve all been elite level,” Boudreaux said. “He’s not really wrong about too many people. So for him to continue to have that relationship with me is an honor”.
