The Kabuki Warriors attack Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY

Rhea Ripley said what the Kabuki Warriors did to IYO SKY last week crossed the line so they are going to settle this tonight in the ring. Rhea challenged the Warriors to come and get her.

IYO SKY said it breaks her heart to say this, but Rhea was right about Asuka and Kairi, but they are her family and she still loves them.

The Kabuki Warriors appeared on the video wall. Asuka said she taught IYO everything she knows, mentored her, and paved the way for her. Now she acts like Rhea is her family now. Because she loves her, she is willing to forgive her, but she has to apologize to her. Kairi told IYO they can be a family again. Asuka said for Rhea, it’s too late.

Rhea told Asuka to go to hell. She asked IYO to trust her and told her there is no way she can go back to them after what they’ve done. IYO told Rhea that she needs time, and left the ring.

The Kabuki Warriors attacked Rhea from behind. IYO got back in the ring and pulled Asuka off Rhea. Kairi pleaded with IYO, and Asuka sprayed the mist in IYO’s eyes. Rhea started to fight the Warriors, but the two on one attack was too much as they rammed her shoulder into the ring post. They both hit Rhea with a spinning back hand. Asuka got her in the Asuka lock while Kairi hit her with the Insane Elbow.

Intercontinental Championship Match: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs Rusev

Dominik avoided the Accolade. He left the ring and grabbed both his belts. Rusev stopped him and threw him back in the ring. Rusev picked up one of the belts Dominik dropped. The referee took the belt from Rusev. As the referee turned around to get rid of the belt, Dominik hit Rusev in the back with the other one, but it didn’t phase him. Dominik tossed the belt to Rusev and laid down on the mat but the referee saw him do it. The referee turned around to get rid of the second belt and Dominik gave Rusev a low blow and rolled him up to retain the championship.

Winner and still Intercontinental Champion: Dominik Mysterio

LA Knight approached Adam Pearce to demand a shot at the world title, citing his victory over Seth Rollins as justification.

Before Pearce could respond, The New Day interrupted, expressing their desire for a tag team title opportunity. Pearce told them they’d need to prove themselves first. Kofi Kingston reminded Knight he was the only one of them to have actually held a world championship. Knight fired back, claiming he’d be world champion soon and urged Pearce to book a match between him and Kingston. Pearce agreed to the challenge.

They showed part one of a video package detailing the history of Rhodes and Seth Rollins since Rhodes’ return to WWE.

Seth Rollins – Cody Rhodes face to face confrontation

Seth Rollins said the three matches he had with Cody Rhodes doesn’t matter. Those were two men trying to reach the top. What matters is Crown Jewel because we are both at the top. He said he’s done everything right and stayed during hard times. He took Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed under his wing and tried to rid this place of cancers like Roman Reigns and CM Punk and everybody still chants for Cody.

Cody Rhodes came to the ring. He said Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed showed up on SmackDown, but he doesn’t believe Rollins sent them. He believes Paul Heyman sent them and asked him who’s in control of his group. Rollins said everything goes through him.

Cody asked if that’s true, then was he the one to allow Heyman to announce Brock Lesnar. Rollins again said every decision goes through him.
