WWE LFG Star BJ Ray Undergoes Surgery

BJ Ray, a standout personality from the WWE reality series LFG, has made a revelation about the severity of an injury he has been competing with for the past two seasons. In a recent post on social media, Ray announced that he has been wrestling with a “100% torn rotator cuff and labrum.” He detailed a conversation with his surgeon, who was amazed that he was able to perform with such a significant injury.

Ray explained that he chose to push through the pain because he knew his personality was a major draw for the show and he felt a duty to the fans, WWE, and A&E.

“Cats out of the bag! Yes… ever since my return on LFG season one I have been competing with a 100% torn rotator cuff and labrum,” Ray wrote. “The surgeon asked me “Bro how have you been wrestling, the only thing holding your shoulder together is your muscle fibers”. I told em “The show must go on”. That’s right, I wrestled both seasons of LFG basically not even able to wrestle because I knew that my personality was more than any other contender had. I have absolutely zero regrets and my shoulder is now repaired. I will be back in no time and actually and able to lift my arm without it feeling detached from my body.”

Ray also acknowledged the role that WWE and A&E played in his decision to continue performing, stating that they asked him to “push through” because of the viewership he was drawing. “Appreciate the love. As the ratings machine, I felt it was my duty to still be out there putting on for y’all. As well as the WWE and A&E asking me to push through as 25% of myself, because they knew how many views I drew. We will be back in no time baby! All love, SexyBJRay”.

The LFG series, which airs on A&E, is a reality competition show that gives aspiring wrestlers a chance to earn a WWE contract. BJ Ray quickly became a fan favorite due to his charismatic and often-controversial personality. We wish him a speedy recovery.
