Damian Priest: Bad Bunny ‘Still Has That Itch’ To Wrestle

In a recent interview with TMZ, former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest provided an optimistic update on a potential WWE return for global music superstar Bad Bunny. Priest, who faced the Grammy-winning artist in a highly praised match in 2023, confirmed that Bad Bunny is eager to step back into a WWE ring.

According to the Judgment Day member, the only thing preventing a comeback is the musician’s incredibly busy schedule. Priest stated that he has spoken with Bunny, who remains passionate about the wrestling business and is physically prepared for another match.

“I’ve talked to him about it and it’s just scheduling,” Priest said. “He still has that itch. He loves our business. He’s had more than enough time to recover since our match, so he’s ready to come.”

The San Juan Street Fight against Damian Priest took place at the Backlash premium live event in Puerto Rico in May 2023. The bout was widely praised by fans and critics for its storytelling and brutal action, with many calling it one of the best celebrity matches in WWE history. He made other appearances in WWE since then, including a Royal Rumble appearance.
