WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has issued a public warning to fans about fake social media accounts that are impersonating him. In a post on his Instagram Stories, the on-screen authority figure shared a screenshot of a TikTok account that was claiming to be his official page. Pearce made it clear that the account is not genuine and told his followers to “Beware of goofs that pretend I’m on TikTok.”
The issue of online impersonators and scammers has become a significant problem in wrestling. These fake accounts often attempt to solicit money from fans, either by pretending to be in financial trouble or by offering fake meet-and-greets and other exclusive content for a fee.
One of the most high-profile victims of these scams was a fan of former WWE Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. In a story that was reported in November 2024, a man was conned out of $1 million of his life savings, as well as his granddaughter’s college fund, by a scammer posing as a popular superstar. Bliss herself has spoken out on numerous occasions about the occurrence of these scams and has urged her fans to be vigilant.
Adam Pearce’s warning serves as another important reminder for fans to be cautious and to always verify the authenticity of social media accounts before interacting with them, especially when it involves any kind of financial transaction. For now, the Raw General Manager is focused on his on-screen duties, which have been more chaotic than ever.
